HIGH COURT GIVES VEERE DI WEDDING TITLE TO RAJESH BAKSHI

The High Court ,Mumbai on 5th May has awarded the title VEERE DI WEDDING To the producers Rajat bakshi, Rajesh Bakshi and Pramod Gomber. Actress Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor( who is producing the film VEERE KI WEDDING had filed the case in the High Court against the Makers of VEERE DI WEDDING as the two titles are very similar to each other) had moved the court to stop the makers of Make My Day Entertainment informing them that the matter would come up for hearing at 11 am on Thursday 5th May and the notice was served at the Rohtak office of Producer Rajesh Bakshi just one day before on 4th May evening at 7 pm. so that Anil kapoor could get an ex parte decision in his favour. But Rajesh Bakshi and his team did not sleep even for a second on the night of 4th May and involved their lawyer to fight their case the next day and the honourable Judge G.S.Patel awarded the title VEERE DI WEDDING to the makers of Make My Day Entertainment. Incidentally, Anil kapoor is producing the film VEERE KI WEDDING and Sonam Kapoor plays the female lead in this film. The lawyers pleaded to the judge not to declare the award on 5th may saying Anil kapoor’s reputation will be at stake. But the judge told the lawyers of Anil Kapoor- Naik and Naik Co. that Rajesh bakshi’s reputation is also at stake and he has already shot his film too. The judge said that he was not convnced with Anil kapoor’s argument. He did not fund any misuse or deceit as alleged, given that the story and cast were different.

32 Days Shooting Of VEERE DI WEDDING Begins

A 32-day shooting stint for  Make My Day Entertainment’s VEERE DI WEDDING will commence from this week in Delhi NCR locales. The makers of the film –  director Ashu Trikha and producers Rajat Bakshi, Chandan Bakshi, Rajesh Bakshi and Pramod Gomber are currently  in the  Delhi NCR region scouting the locales for the film. Jimmy Shergill, Yuveeka Chaudhary,Satish kaushik,Anita Kulkarni, Payal Rajput,Sonal (India Queen),Jashan Singh,Micky Makhija and Supriya Karnik have already taken part in the first two shooting stints. The film is written by Dilip Shukla )Dabangg fame), cinematographed by Johnny Lal, lyrics by Faaiz Anwar and Deepak Kumar, music by Meet Bros., Jaidev,Fardeen and Ashok Punjabi, action by Abbas Ali Moghul and editing by Deven Murdeshwar.
