JAYSHRI T IN  A DIFFERENT ROLE IN SATYAPRAKASH  MANGTANI’s FILM

Veteran actress Jayshri T. who has an incredible record of acting in over 700 films in practically all the languages of India will now be seen in a very different role of a mother in the film MUJHE BHI YE DUNIYA DEKHNI HAIN, written,produced and directed by Satyaprakash Mangtani. She says:” I was deeply touched when I heard my role of a mother whose daughter-in-law is pregnant with a girl child and she does not deliver the child for reasons of her own. But what happens later to her and also the family is depicted very poignantly and with great impact which will surely leave a lasting impression in the minds of the women and also the world in general.

Child infoeticide is the most burning issue throughout the world and we are now realising the importance of the girl child. Satyaprakash Mangtani has done a yeoman’s service by making this film and I am sure, he will get lots of praises from the world film makers as empowering the girl child is receiving lots of support thoroughout the world and India particularly is striving very hard to promote women in a big way in all the fields of society.”
