Jubilee Star Dineshlal Yadav, Power Star Pawan Singh and YouTube Queen Amrapali Dubey mesmerized the audiences at Bhojpuri Film Awards 2017 which is considered as the most prestigious award in the Bhojpuri cinema industry.

The function which was held at the Atharwa College auditorium in Malad West in Mumbai on 19th November saw Dineshlal Yadav bagging the Best Actor’s Award, Pawan Singh bagged the Popular Actor’s award while Amrapali Dubey was conferred with the judged Best Actress award. It was this trio which entertained the audiences with their dazzling performances.

Other highlight of the evening was that Padmashree Priyanka Chopra and her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra’s well-known film ‘Bam Bam Bol raha hai Kashi’ was selected as the most popular film, while ‘Hogi Pyaar ki Jeet’ received the Best Film award and Sanjay Bhushan Patiala was adjudged as the Best PR.

Prior to this event, at a glittering evening of the Bhojpuri awards ceremony 2017 saw the Delhi BJP president and Member of Parliament –  singer-actor Manoj Tiwari, Jubilee star Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua, Pawan Singh, Amrapali Dubey, Anjana Singh, Sambhavna Seth, Rani Chatterjee, Awadhesh Mishra, Seema Singh, Manoj Tiger alongwith other artists of the entire Bhojpuri industry graced the red carpet. These artists performed so well on the stage which left the audience no choice but to shake their legs and dance with them.

For the information of our readers, Bhojpuri cinema started way back in 1962, when many films were highly appreciated. Following the initial hysteria, Bhojpuri cinema saw its several ups and downs. 2005 was a landmark year for the Bhojpuri Film Industry when Vinod Gupta’s efforts saw the inception of the ‘Bhojpuri Film Awards’ to honour the filmmakers. Legendary Bollywood icon Shri Dilip Kumar inaugurated the awards that year with lighting the lamp of the inauguration ceremony and this precedence is being carried out successfully with the Bhojpuri Awards being organized without any interruption till date. It was during those times that the Bollywood superstar Govinda championed the cause by being an ambassador of the Bhojpuri Film Awards.
