Seema Biswas and Rohit Pathak attends Baromas film Screening
Hindi Feature film Baromas which was screened at Washington Film Festival and so many film festivals. The film is based on the Sahitya Academy award winning Marathi novel. The movie addresses the plight of dry land farmers and the educated unemployed in rural India. Recently the film was screened at Mahalaxi Famous Studio which was attended by actors Seema Biswas, Rohit Pathak and Subrat Dutta and Many More. The film hits theater on 17th June. Rohit Pathak playing a character of Fisherman who’s latter fighting for villagers to get freedom from Sahukaar and Gram Panchayat.
Rohit Pathak Said, I enjoyed shooting for this film. It was a great experience to work on such kind of project. As it’s a reality based film which gives an opportunity to work on real locations, in return gives you the actual feel of living there .And when the technical team is so strong you just need to concentrate on your acting as from within you can feel that you are in safe hands”.
‘Baromas’, the novel, is written by Dr Sadanand Deshmukh who lives in Vidarbha, surrounded by the stories of farmers, their miseries and rare joys. The film has been directed by Dheeraj Meshram.
